Embrace effortless style and ultimate comfort with the Golden Pullover knitting pattern – named for its cheerful, sun-kissed hue! This pattern is designed for those who love a relaxed, oversized fit, making it an ideal layering piece for breezy summer days or cozy evenings.
Crafted with 100% cotton yarn and 3.5mm US 4 needles, this pattern guides you through a unique top-down construction. You’ll begin by knitting the left and right front panels separately, then joining them to form the complete front section. Next, stitches are picked up from the front shoulders, additional stitches cast on for the back neck, and short rows are worked to shape the back. The front and back are then seamlessly joined to work the lower body in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes to knit the sleeves, also in the round, ensuring a comfortable, custom fit with minimal seaming.
The Golden Pullover offers an engaging knitting experience with satisfying construction techniques, resulting in a versatile and stylish garment perfect for your warm-weather wardrobe.

Pattern using wrap and turn short row method. “Wrap” = slip the next stitch to the right needle, take yarn to opposite side of work between needles, slip same stitch back onto left needle. Turn work, ready to begin working in opposite direction. To “hide” the wraps, on the next row lift the wrap and work it together with the stitch. Related video 1, video 2.
