Gone Fishin' Mosaic Overlay Blanket/Throw
Gone Fishin’ - I wanted this blanket to be a reminder of simpler times, when store owners just hung up a hand-painted Gone Fishing sign, and closed for the day. It can be done in the traditional 2 colours, but I have also included the opportunity to add in more colours using tapestry crochet, by carrying the colours across the row.
Yarn
I Used:
- Caron Blossom Cakes in Tidepool, 2000 yards
- Pound of Love in Cascade, 1600 yards
- Misc. Stash Yarn to add in Colours (approx. 100-200 yards each)
Darlene Used:
- Loops and Threads Soft Classic in Mocha, 2500 yards
- Loops and Threads Soft Classic in Mustard, 2200 yards
This is a picture blanket, 166 stitches x 228 rows and measures approximately 42” x 60”. Both Charts and Written Instructions (Right-Handed) are included.
