GAUGE
28 sts and 32 rnds over 4 in/ 10 cm of color work after blocking.
34 sts and 40 rnds over 4 in/ 10 cm of 1x1 rib before blocking.

Tools
Size 3.25 mm/US 3 circular needle in 3 lengths appropriate for neck, cuffs and hem (see finished measurements).
Size 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needles appropriate for increasing width from neck to shoulders to lower hem.
Size 3.75 mm/US 5 circular needles in lengths appropriate for working the sleeves. I recommend moving up a size for your sleeves but if your gauge remains consistent, you may choose to stick with size 3.5mm/US 4 for your sleeves.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking. Ribbing is not blocked.

NOTIONS: Stitch markers: at least 4. Scrap yarn or stitch holders for holding sleeves. Darning needle for weaving in ends and closing any holes in the underarms.

If using Spincycle Yarns DIW, I recommend purchasing 1 extra skein if you like to control your striping. This way you can play with your color placement. I also recommend planning out your sleeves first (each sleeve takes about 25 g) and putting that yarn aside for later while you knit the body.
