Inspired by all the magnificent sweaters of my favorite witch, Willow Rosenburg, Good Willow is the perfect combination of a classic shape with a funky twist. Calling back to the easy-to-wear, allover cable texture that was loved by the late 90’s, Good Willow will be your new favorite sweater to wear anywhere, whether it’s to class, performing rituals, or hunting demons! And because we’re taking inspiration from Willow, I just had to include some fuzzy flowers ;)

Construction:
The sweater is knit from the top-down, beginning by knitting the top back panel flat, then picking up stitches and knitting the front panel, which includes the colorwork. The two panels are then joined and worked in-the-round until the desired length. The collar is then worked by picking up stitches around the neckline, and the same is done for the sleeves around the armholes.

Yarn
Main Color:
Farmer’s Daughter Fibers, Recollect Sport, 185 yds/2oz, Willow Creek

Contrast Color: (Held together)
Ritual Dyes, Maven, 265 yds/242m/100g, Clay
Hu Made, Made Cloud, 459 yds/420m/50g, Flirt

I encourage you to use leftover yarn for this section! The colorwork is only 15 rows so you really don’t need that much :)

Tips for choosing your CC: If you plan to use a fingering + mohair, choose one that is tonal/solid and the other that is speckled/variegated. For a single strand, choose one that is variegated or a gradient. Or use a solid color if that’s your vibe!
