Gołomp Krakoski - an eccentric pigeon
Meet Gołomp Krakoski, the eccentric pigeon from Kraków, wearing a traditional krakuska cap with a peacock feather and a leaf of bread necklace :)
The pattern was tested and consists of 20 pages full of pictures and detailed descriptions in PDF format, in English.
Skill level: intermediate (you have to be able to work with wire parts)
YARN
Sport weight, 55% cotton & 45% acrylic (50g/160m). I used YarnArt Jeans in the following colors:
- cool gray (80)
- purple splash (949)
- sea green (63)
- dark gray (46)
- graphite (28)
- off-white (03) leftover
- light coral (23)
- black (53) leftover
- red (26)
- dark green (52)
- yellow (35) leftover
- turquoise (33) leftover
- deep blue (47) leftover
- light beige (05)
- warm beige (07) leftover
Additionally: a leftover amount of black fingering yarn for the pupils and two strands of white yarn to mark eyes’ highlights.
OTHER MATERIALS
- Main hook size 2.00mm
- Additional hook size 1.5mm (used only for the pupils)
- Fiberfill for stuffing
- 1mm wire and a designated wirecutter
- Yarn needle
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
- Pins
FINISHED SIZE
About 19 cm if made using indicated yarn and hook size.
