The Gooseberry Cardigan is a simple, slightly A-shaped cardigan with “gooseberry edging” at the hem. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up.
The leaf edging is finished first with some of the berries; subsequently you will pick up and knit stitches along the edging.
The front piece and the back piece are knitted in one piece, and knitted back and forth in
stockinette stitch with a moss stitch edge at the beginning and at the end.
The sleeves are knitted in the round using double pointed needles with a moss stitch edge, and joined together with the cardigan by knitting raglan decreases.
