The Gooseberry poncho is knitted from the bottom up.
The leaf edging is knitted first with some of the berries, subsequently you will pick up and knit sts along the edging and then knit short rows to shape the front piece and the back piece of the poncho, while at the same time knitting more berries.
The poncho is made with arm holes.
The poncho is finished with a turtleneck collar in rib.
