About the pattern: This pattern introduces a brand new stitch called “cast on triple crochet”. Pattern includes detailed stitch photos showing how to work this stitch in simple, straight rows, and also in a shell, as in the Gossamer Wrap. You may use this tutorial to create a scarf, wrap or blanket of desired size.

  • Sample baby wrap measured approx. 14” x 32” and was made for use by a newborn photographer.
  • Sample ladies wrap measured approx. 22” x 48”.

You may use yarn type and hook size of choice with this pattern. Sample baby wrap used a beautiful lace weight acrylic yarn and crochet hook size K (6.50 mm). Sample ladies wrap used a worsted weight mohair and crochet hook size K (6.5mm). The straight rows of cast on triple crochet (co-tr) were done with a fingering weight alpaca. As with anything, the type of yarn and size hook will change the look, feel, drape of the fabric you’re creating, so have fun experimenting!
