If you are anything like me, you never throw out those little bits and bobs of leftover yarn. In my case, I am the proud owner of two huge (and very jumbled!) tubs of leftovers. Most of these partials are unlabeled, untidy, and in danger of becoming conjoined with their fellow remnants. But, I still love them all and get great satisfaction when I find a use for them.

It’s time to remember the leftovers! Here is a sock pattern that is divided into five sections, with approximate yardages listed for each segment. You can decide how you want to mix it up. Pick one fingering color for every section, or make each one different. Let one or two specked yarns find a friend. No rules! In fact, go really crazy, and mix those indie dyed yarns with other yarns. You are the designer of your own sock!
