I wanted to make a fun Halloween Greyhound Snood for my Greyhound, Bond. I love halloween and Autumn and I can see there are not too many greyhound snoods available.

I ended up creating my own quick, easy, simple pattern.

I used black and white to get more of a Tim Burton feel to it but Could be done using black and orange or a muted green with maroon for a Freddy Krueger look.

My greyhound is a big boy with a large neck.

1 skein of Marriners DK in black, 1 skein of Bonus DK in white, knit using two strands knit together) suitable for size 9.00mm (US 13) needles.

(You won’t use a full skein of either one.)

I made a buttonhole for the lead to go through but you can skip this if you use a harness on your greyhound.

Needles
09 mm (US size 13) 16” Circular Needles

I have created a matching hat pattern for Greyhound owners as well. I will be posting better pics of my greyhound next week. He is being quite lazy at the moment and doesn’t want to get up.

Please message me if the pattern is not clear or you have any questions at all.
