Literary a gothic tale is a mystery story that often involves the supernatural, like ghosts, haunted buildings, hereditary curses, disturbing dreams, or omens.

My Gothic Tale is a triangular shawl worked sideways in an eye-catching graphic black and white mosaic pattern, edged with a “popping” colour.

Finished measurements:
from side to side 200 cm
from top to bottom at deepest point 80 cm
(after blocking).

Yarn:
Fingering weight.
The sample was knit using Hazel Knits Artisan Sock, (366 m/120 g), colour Nekkid (A), Signature Black (B), and Totally Pink (C), 1 skein in each colour.

Gauge:
21 sts and 44 rows = 10 cm in garter stitch and in garter stitch mosaic pattern (unblocked).

Needle size:
3.5 mm circular needle, minimum 80 cm.
