Two patterns served as inspiration for this dress / tunic model in dark brown. The leafs in the bottom is Gotland’s “murgröna”, which means ivy, and the floral pattern on the chest and sleeves is just named “rosor” in this old book “Gotländska stickmönster”. I’ve chosen to call it Gotand’s Rose.
I found it nice to design 40-ies and 50-ies-inspired puff sleeves. You may want to dress up and use the dress as it is, or if you want a more casual look, use it as a tunic with jeans.
