Several different pdf files are included with your purchase. One includes two pages of thumbnails with all of the characters facing in both directions so that you can cut them out and play around with layouts. All 30 characters are provided facing in both directions.

Each stitch will take a different amount of yarn, and each crocheter is very different. Obviously, if you are making a blanket you will need a lot more yarn than if you are making a washcloth. Please read the blog posts and pattern instructions to calculate how much yarn you will need.
