Finally, a favorite pinafore-style infant dress in thread!

This lovely dress with a full skirt drapes beautifully. It has a ribbon that wraps around the chest and an opening in the back with a button hole for easy dressing. The skirt can be made as long or as short as you wish. The shells on the skirt are elegant enough give this dress a lacy appearance but dense enough to be warm for your little one. I designed the shells with a vertical cable. If you wish the cable to be visible, simply change the back post double crochet stitches to front post double crochet stitches.

The dress shown in the photo:

Chest stretched to full width: 14” wide (tie the ribbon for the best fit)
Neck Hole with button closed: is 4” wide
Edge of Shoulders: 9” wide
Skirt Length: from armhole 10”
Dress Length: from top of shoulder 14”
Armhole from top to bottom: 3”
