It is a combination of twisted rib stitches and easy cables with a seed stitch border. It is knit double stranded on super large 36 US/20mm needles.

10 Skeins (970m/1060 yds) Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick or similar Super Bulky yarn. I have also used Cascade Spontaneous with delightful results.
20mm/36US circular with 32” cable
Cable needle or spare needle of similar size. I use a second 20mm/36US circular for this purpose. It’s easier to find
