Grace Shelby (named for both this beautiful colorway and the wife of Peaky Blinder Thomas Shelby) is knit from the bottom up. Simple decreases are worked over a few cable rounds which makes this cowl wider on the bottom and allows it to lay nicely on your neck. With a mixture of simple cables and a wee bit of lace, this is a quick but satisfying knit that uses less than a skein of fingering weight yarn.

This is the perfect accessory to add a little warmth to a cute outfit, or to keep your neck warm under a coat. And it’s great around the house because it won’t dip into the dishwasher or your dinner like a larger shawl will. (This cowl has a Shawl Dip Factor of ZERO. ;) )
