Beautiful Gracie is a very versatile cat. Not only can she be used
as a pyjama case, but she could also be used as a snuggly cuddly
hot water bottle cover or even a novelty cushion cover. Knitted
in chunky yarn, she’s so simple to make and knits up fast. She
has a single 30mm button on her tum for easy access and is big
enough to hold even adults’ pyjamas.

I have hand painted two 20mm domed buttons for her eyes
using acrylic paints and a good coat of varnish, but two large
black buttons would work just as well, or cat safety toy eyes are available from any craft shop or online site. You could even just embroider two eyes using some black chunky yarn. I have used
all methods and they all look super cute.

She has been knitted flat using 4.5mm needles. She makes a perfect gift for both the young and old and looks super cute lay on the bed.

I hope you’ll enjoy knitting her as much as I have.
