My poncho is a medium difficulty written only pattern. There is no chart for the cable but, having said that, the cable is a simple eight stitch front twist that is easy to master. The loose fitting poncho has enough detail to keep it interesting without being complicated.

The pattern is knit in two pieces to the yoke to take advantage of the gradient dye and then joined and finished in the round. There is a vent on each side at the bottom to allow you to raise your arm.

My poncho pattern was inspired by a really unique yarn by Studio Yarn called Gala, a gradient yarn, but can be made with any worsted weight yarn that will match the gauge. I used two skeins of Gala with very little left over so if you are going to up size this pattern you will need a third skein.
