This is a simple striped cell phone case, perfect for using up fingering scraps! It will protect your cell phone from dirt and scratches, while serving as a convenient carrying case.

Knowledge needed to make this pattern:

knitting and purling, k2tog and YO

tying on a new color yarn

working in the round

placing live stitches on waste yarn

knitting into the stitch below (if using non-gradient colors, this technique can be used to minimize stripe jogging)

i-cord construction OR single crochet chain (for drawstring)

Sizes

Medium: fits a 2.5” by 5” phone (6.35cm x 12.5cm)

Large: fits a 3.5” by 6” phone (8.75cm x 15cm)

I made this case on DPNs, but magic loop would work even better, as you have a smaller chance of creating ladders in the finished fabric.
