The sock is knit top-down in the round.
The heel (Sveinuhæll) is knit seamlessly as part of the sock – no short rows or picking up stitches. It is worked with increases and then decreases across part of the sock.

Yarn and needles
1 skein Fínerí - 100gr / 400 m - 85% merino/15%nylon
1 skein Fínerí50 - 50gr/200m- 85% merino/15%nylon

2.5 mm needles
(If you knit loosely, go down to 2.0 mm or 2.25 mm. If you knit tightly, you can go up to 2.75 mm or 3.0 mm.)

Sizes
The sizes are based on foot circumference at the widest part (around the arch, near where the foot bends when standing on your toes).

Foot length depends on shoe size (see chart on page 5).
Small: 20–21 cm circumference
Medium: 22–24 cm
Large: 25–26 cm
