ERRATA 2) July 17, 2017: Replaced the abbreviated legend with a detailed legend that better describes the wrong side stitches.

ERRATA 1) Cast on 66 (not 65)

Grandifoli-oli-a (named because of its multiple wraps around your neck). This long, loopy cowl starts with a provisional cast on and ended by grafting live stitches to the beginning stitches (after taking them off the provisional yarn). You can add a twist if you like, to form a mobius. For mine I kept it flat.

You can make about 20-21 leaves per ball of folio.

The cowl can be worked in one colour. Or, be adventurous and work yours with two or three colours. It looks great in layered loops. Being a bit picky, I couldn’t accept that a leaf changed colours mid-way, so I used a tiny bit of intarsia at each end to finish the leaves in the colour they were started in. I describe this in the pattern but if you try it and want more guidance by all means reach out to me for help.

Up next, Grandifolia Neck (worked in the round) is designed, all ready to cast on for a test knit). It will be multi-yarn weights and multi-length, similar to Grandifolia Head.
