This is pattern for slippers, that looks almost as my grandmothers knitted slippers.

I made them from bulky weight acrylic yarn Tango (Madame Tricote Paris, 100g/ 120 m) - one skein of main color, small amount of contrasting color for bows, hook I / 9 / 5,5mm.

Slippers on picture is 8 - 8,5 US woman size. Pattern is easy adjustable - if you need them more wide, add more stitches in row 4. If need smaller, make less rows, if bigger - make more rows.
