You will need U.S. size 7 straight or circular knitting needles and double pointed knitting needles for the I-cord. A size H crochet hook for the single crochet edging. A row counter and a darning needle. You will need 1 skein of yarn.

This is an easy beginner knitting pattern. This can easily be knit in a few hours.

I did not use a gauge in this pattern to be easier for the beginning knitter. If you find your personal knitting style makes this pattern to loose go down one needle size. If you find your knitting to tight go up one needle size.
