This is all garter stitch, with eyelet rows at the beginning and end. This makes a boot to fit at least man’s size 12.

Make boot smaller for ladies by using fewer stitches and ridges. More stitches will make a boot that goes higher up the leg. More ridges will make a boot to fit a bigger foot. The boot will stretch to fit.

Gauge:
10 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in Garter stitch

Yarn:
Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Stripes, 2 skeins
(87 yards each)
(or 2 strands of worsted weight yarn, held together)

Needles:
#11 US (8 mm)
