The Granite Wrap is a big, cozy winter wrap with lots of texture reminiscent of granite stone. The rectangular wrap features a granite stitch main body, integrated i-cord at the top and bottom edges, and a generous tassel at the bottom point. Simple bias shaping gives the wrap a “v” shape and helps it to fit comfortably around the shoulders. The front tips of the wrap can be crossed over the wearer’s chest and secured with a shawl closure. Or the tassel can be worn in front. This project is suitable for the advanced beginning knitter.

The Granite Wrap is knitted in worsted weight yarn. Sample is Cascade 220 Heathers by Cascade Yarns (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 220 yd /200 m per 100g skein)
