A couple months ago I taught my preschool class the story “Little Red Riding Hood” and they took that story into dramatic play and acted it out. However, in between the firefighter, police, and nurse outfits, I didn’t really have anything the kids could use to play Granny/Wolf, so I decided to fix that right away. After I placed this hat in dramatic play, the kids started using it whenever they wanted to play “adult,” which I thought was fantastic.
