Granny squares are used to create this fun cardigan, for an exciting take on this classic crochet motif. Fringing adds a charming finish that lets the garment truly flow.

Notes:

This loose-fitting cardigan is made from three different types of Motif; a Square Motif, a One Colour Square Motif and a Half Square Motif. Refer to the Making Up Diagram on page 93 for the layout. The squares near the shoulders will stretch in wearing, so the length measurement given includes that extra length. If you find that the neckline is too wide, you can add extra rows of dc to the edging around the
neckline.

Tension:

A single square motif measures approx 18(20)cm/7(8)in square using 5mm hook, or size needed to obtain correct tension
