This crochet gnome has a granny hat and a granny beard. It is made in two basic parts: the body and the hat.

Arms are optional and are made in crochet too.

The gnome is about 26 cm tall from bottom to top of hat.

The body is worked in a spiral and the hat is worked in the round.

Gauge is not important. Just adjust hook size to prevent stuffing show-through.

-Magic ring

-Increasing (2 single crochets into one stitch)

You will need:

• Bulky yarn in grey (I used microfiber). 25 grm aprox
• Aran or worsted yarn in red 25 grm aprox
• Scrap yarn in flesh color for the nose
• Small amount of white color yarn for the beard
• Crochet hooks (4.5 and 5.0 mm)
• Toy filling
