After visiting Alice’s triangle, where Alice Best gives a marvelous tutorial on how to crochet a granny triangle, I wrote the granny five-peaks (Teresa’s pentagon).

This pattern describe two different ways of crocheting a granny hexagon.

The first one (crocheted in different blues) is the natural extension of the granny five-peaks. I think that this option has many increases per row, so there can be some ruffles. Blocking tends to solve it.

As I wasn’t very happy with the final result, I went for the second crocheted granny (yellow, red and green). This time, there is no curling, even without blocking!

Both patterns are very easy.
