Clever Hands Knitting Pattern 60:

Another great Learn to Knit project for beginners. This free knitting pattern gives all you new knitters the opportunity to practice your garter or knit stitch and extend your basic skills. What a thrill to create your very own cushion cover for your home or as a gift.

The cushion cover is made up of twenty-four granny squares, which are created using the garter or knit stitch. Once all twenty-four granny squares have been made, it’s time to arrange them in order and sew them together to make a 30 cm or 12 inch square cushion cover. Mattress stitch is used to join all the seams.
