✨ What makes it work

• Double stranded. Two strands held together for a sturdy, cozy basket.
• Bottom first. Crochet the base and set it aside.
• Granny stitch body. Worked in rows and finished with a scalloped edge.
• Ears, handle and tail. Finish with a fluffy pompom tail.
• You’re not on your own. Video tutorial and written pattern included.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Dishie, WeCrochet (100% cotton, 190 yds/100 g), held double. Colors shown: Swan with Blush and Lilac Mist, Mushroom and Swan, Inlet and Swan.
• Yardage: 500 yds total. 3 balls of the main color and 1 ball of any accent colors.
• Love a swap? Sugar ‘n Cream, Lily · Craft Cotton, Village Yarn
• Hook: I (5.5mm), or size to meet gauge
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers · Yarn Needle · Scissors
• To finish like the samples: 16 Gauge Copper Wire · Round Nose Pliers/Wire Cutters · Pompom Buttons · Large Pompoms · Optional 10” Wooden Circle for a flat, sturdy bottom
