The Granny Stripe Stitch is a two-row repeat crochet pattern constructed with clusters of double crochet nested in between the previous row’s double crochet clusters to create an offset pattern that is light and not completely solid. It works great for baby blankets, modern afghans, cardigans and shawls.

The two-row repeat pattern is easy to remember and you will not need to reference the pattern once you made a few rows. There are no stitches to count either, it is the perfect project to make while watching your favorite TV show.
