The Summer Crochet Granny Top is a size inclusive, breezy top with an evenly increased yoke and a pretty granny square trim along the bottom.

It is worked top down, so you can adjust the fit and sleeve length as you go. Want a dress? It is easy to lengthen into a pretty dress with short sleeves.

✨ What makes it work

• Top down construction. An evenly increased yoke, then split for sleeves and body.
• Customize as you go. Adjust fit and sleeve length in the body and sleeve sections.
• Granny square trim. Squares are made and seamed along the bottom, if you like.
• Top or dress. Easily modified into a short sleeve dress.
• You’re not on your own. Video tutorial and written pattern included.

• Yarn: Comfy Fingering, WeCrochet (75% pima cotton, 25% acrylic, 218 yds/50g). Colors shown: White, Marlin, Flamingo, Sea Foam. Or Twister Solid, Hobbii (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 437 yds/100g). Colors shown: Light Rose, Dusty Rose, Cream, Glacier
• Yardage: White top with square trim, 1400 (1450, 1525, 1600, 1700) (1850, 2000, 2200, 2400) yds, 7 (7, 8, 8, 9) (9, 10, 11, 12) skeins. Accent colors use 1 ball each; for sizes L to 5X, 2 balls of the most used accent color. See the pattern notes for modification yardages.

• Fit: Oversized and relaxed, worn with 1.5 to 6” of ease. For a more fitted look, go down a size.
