This simple zig-zag design can be worked as a narrow scarf or a wider wrap. The points provide a fun, funky look combined with the garter stripes and simple lace for visual interest.

Each option uses fingering weight yarn in 2 colors. Designer recommends two solid/semi-solid colors, or one solid with one non-solid such as a tonal, speckle, gradient, or lightly variegated.

  • Scarf - 100 grams (400 yds) each of Colors A & B.
  • Wrap - 200 grams (800 yds) each of Colors A & B.

The length of either option can be adjusted based on preference and/or available yardage by adding or subtracting zig-zag repeats.

Gauge is not crucial - choose a needle size to get a fabric to your liking. Note that a loose gauge will result in greater yarn usage.

When a graphene sheet is cut such that it forms a narrow strip, the resulting structure is called graphene nanoribbon. Depending on the cutting direction, the nanoribbon has either zigzag edges or armchair edges or a mixture of both.
