What are you grateful for in your life? Our focus is often on things we do not have. Goals we want to achieve. Dreams we want fulfilled. Or even material things we don’t think we can live happily without. The grateful shawl is all about gratitude. To acknowledge what we do have. Big or small. Relations? Memories? Skills? Pets? A beautiful old vase? There are so much to be grateful for, don’t let us forget.

This pattern includes a five day gratitude challenge. Please check out the #grateful_shawl_challenge hashtag on Instagram if you are curious.*

PATTERN DETAILS

Size: Size is easily adjustable, my shawl is 195 cm along the top edge and 56 cm from top down

Yarn: This shawl could be knitted in many different yarns and weights. I used Manx Merino Fine from Rosy Green Wool (200m/50g). Three skeins (600m and 150g) is enough for a shawl in my size. Add one skein for a larger shawl!

Needles: circular needles, 3.25 mm and 80-100 cm, you will also need four stitch markers

Gauge (after blockning): 24 stitches and 32 rows is 10x10 cm in stockinette
