Bring out your inner bear!

This hood was designed with the Grateful Dead dancing bears in mind. It has an oversized hood, floppy ears, and a pointed collar ~ perfect for keeping snuggly!

I would rate this as an intermediate project
Stitches used: chain, single crochet, double crochet, picot, front post single crochet, and double crochet decrease.

Materials:
5.00 or 5.50 mm hook
350 - 400 yards worsted weight yarn
yarn needle

This hood is perfect for guys or gals and is one size fits all :)

*** This pattern includes instructions on how to make the dancing bear hood in a large and small size. The large version is oversized and fits dreads and large heads best. The smaller version is what can be seen in the photos and tends to be the version I make more of. The construction of the larger hood is written up a bit different than that of the smaller hood, but they’re essentially the same design ***
