This simple blanket was inspired by my friend’s dog. One day he took her Gratitude Shawl to his sleeping spot, curled up with the shawl and had a nap. The simple garter and eyelet stitch pattern of the Gratitude Shawl lends itself to easily convert into a blanket pattern. I choose a Super Bulky weight yarn to use, but this pattern could easily convert to a yarn weight of your choice, you will have to adjust your needle size and stitch count to accommodate. This would make a perfect blanket for your pet, a baby, yourself, or as a Prayer Shawl.
