he Great Lakes Cowl - A fun play of texture and color to capture the beauty of the Great Lakes.

The Great Lakes Cowl is a tribute to my home state of Michigan, also known as the Great Lakes State! This design represents branching out with new textures and colors in a way that makes this project even more fun to make and wear.

This design uses Fluffy DK, from Handmade Home Fibers. he single-ply yarn gives this pattern the perfect amount of bounce and squish, with the lightweight softness of DK weight merino wool. Using only two skeins, you can grab a couple of DK skeins out of your stash for this project. Let the bobbles pop with a solid color or use something with a little variation for even more texture!
