This is the second in a series of hats celebrating Michigan Fiber Festival and all our great state has to offer. The motif was selected by my 2019 Fair Isle students at MFF. The lighthouse is inspired by the Rock Harbor Lighthouse on Isle Royale.

Skill: Experienced

Size: Adult average. 21.5” measured blocked at the brim.

Gauge: 30 st = 4” / 10 cm in pattern using larger needles when blocked.

Yarn: Fingering weight, Jamieson Spindrift in six colors

Needles and Notions: US size 1 (2.5 mm) and 3 (3.25 mm) for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch marker and tapestry needle
Optional: 22 clear #8 beads and beading wire or #12 steel crochet hook
