A little addition to my pumpkin patch pattern just in time for Halloween. As the original pattern is already so detailed, I just added a couple of sketches for the body. So, you would have to download the basic pattern first (it’s free as well).

I didn’t provide a gauge as it really doesn’t matter which size you knit it. Pick any yarn you like. But for the sake of consistency, my gauge for a 5x5 cm swatch in st st 17 stitches and 23 rows.

If you pick a different yarn, just make sure you knit with a relatively small needle. Else the toy stuffing will show through.

The final pumpkin monster is supported with bonsai wire (you can use any other malleable wire) as well. And you will probably have to mount it on a stand (I used a little block of wood)
