Sunlight peeking through a canopy of leaves, waves lapping against the shore, and the crisscross of the suspension lines of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge; these are some of the images that sparked the naming of this shawl after a walk at one of my favorite places: Greenbury Point Nature Trail in Annapolis, MD.

Greenbury Point, the shawl, is knit from the top down with alternating garter sections and lace sections that form diagonal lines. It is then finished off with an eyelet edge and picot bind off.

A great stash buster for those hand-dyed speckled and variegated DK skeins you have on hand. Choose a speckled and a variegated, a speckled and a solid or make it all one color, the choice is yours! Greenbury Point is a fun and quick knit for yourself or for a gift!

This pattern contains both written and chart instructions for lace sections.
