“Greensleeves was all my joy
Greensleeves was my delight,
Greensleeves was my heart of gold,
And who but my lady greensleeves.”

I was inspired to create a scarf with lovely, lacy detail while still using simple square construction. Using a quick join-as-you-go method makes assembling this scarf a snap, while also giving you the flexiblity to increase or decrease the length of the scarf as you choose. You may even want to try a using a thinner yarn and hook to create more dainty squares or use multiple colors of yarn for a completely unique look.

Advanced beginner to intermediate crochet skills needed. Stitches you will need to know: Chain, Slip Stitch, Single Crochet, Half-double Crochet, Double Crochet. Special stitches are explained in the pattern instructions.
I have also included many photographs in the PDF pattern to guide you as you work the special stitches and as you join each square.
