Grey Butterflies is an asymmetric triangle shawl. The garter stitch and rib stitch create horizontal stripes, adding rhythm. The delicate lace creates tiny butterflies.

Yarn
Garnstudio Drops Alpaca (100% Alpaca; 167 m / 183 yards per 50 g) Color A: light grey mix (501), 2 skeins. Color B: light pearl grey mix (9020), 2 skeins. Or similar sport weight yarn.

Needles
Size 4mm / US 6 circular needle, 110 cm / 40 inch long.

Finished measurements
Approximately 191 cm / 75 in (top edge) x 76 cm / 30 in (depth), after blocking.

Gauge
20 stitches and 30 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in garter st on US 6 / 4 mm needles after blocking. Note: obtaining the gauge given is not crucial for a successful project but will affect the finished size and the yardage needed.
