When squishy, lofty skeins of Grey Label Chunky came through my door, I knew they were meant to be cozy hats to keep my family warm through the winter that is just around the corner.

Grey Medallions hat knits up in a flash. Choose from three different sizes to fit the whole family. Work it in one colour, or two, add a pom-pom or not – it’s up to you! The pattern is suitable for any chunky yarn in a solid or semi-solid colour that blocks well.

Sizes: S (M, L), to fit a head circumference of 18-20 (20-22, 22-24)”, or Child (Teen/Adult, Large Adult)

Yardage: 90 (110, 125) yards/ 85 (100, 114) m or 1 (1, 1) skein. Optional pom-pom uses an extra 10-20 yards

US size 10/6.0 mm 16”/40 cm circular needles and DPN; or size needed to obtain gauge
US size 7/4.5 mm 16”/40 cm circular needles, or needle three sizes smaller than gauge needle
