“You can focus on the rain today or the flowers tomorrow. The choice is yours.”†

Rainy days are beautiful in their own way but a constant drizzle in spring is another matter! Those endless heavy grey days can take a mental toll but if you focus on the colorful outcome all the rain is worth it.
Sort of like those moments in life when all you see are grey skies. Look up, soon the sun will shine and the flowers will bloom! But in the meantime; poke around the bushes, examine the trees, and notice the budding blooms. You’ll find that all those grey skies have made the colors more vibrant and the grass green.
Just as a rainy grey sky enhances the spring flowers and makes them pop so does this two colored large asymmetrical shawl. Using a multi colored skein and a coordinating neutral. The open mesh lace and the bud-like slip stitches will showcase the yarn and “pull out every bit of beautiful.”

Grey Skies uses two skeins of Bayview Fiber Arts on her Pine Lake Fingering Base (100% superwash merino) Pair a colorful variegated skein with a neutral one to make those colors pop!
