Winter is here. This tribute cardigan is a test of knitting valor featuring flat stranded colorwork and intarsia for a true king or queen of the North. The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the bottom up with raglan shaping. The button band and shawl collar are worked from held ribbing stitches and attached as you work. The shawl collar is completed with short rows, which are hidden in the ribbing. An optional tubular cast on provides a polished, elegant finish for this royal cardigan.
