The Grid Hot Water Bottle is knit seamlessly in the round, from the bottom up. After casting on, increases are made to shape the body. The body is knit while also working stripes in a contrasting colour to create the horizontal lines of the grid. At the shoulders, decreases are worked to shape the neck. At the neck a double knitted channel is created, for an elastic to be thread through later, followed by further increases for the mouth and an i-cord bind off. After binding off, vertical stripes are added using duplicate stitch with contrasting colour to complete the grid pattern.
