My preferred grocery store’s carts don’t have built-in hooks to hang bags so I decided to make my own.

This is a very simple pattern, great for a beginner. It is also a perfect project to use up your yarn scrapes. The instructions are based on worsted weight yarn and using the Buffalo plaid technique but any weight yarn (and the corresponding crochet hook size) and colour scheme (e.g. one colour instead of plaid) could be used.
