A simple sweater with a little knitting-technique twist. It is knitted in one piece, so there is very little sewing up – always a good thing when you would rather knit than sew.

The sweater is knitted with thin and thick yarn from Knitting for Olive, and it is the interplay between the two yarn weights that gives the design its character. The different sections alternate between the thin and thick yarn, creating subtle contrasts in both texture and surface.

The result is a classic sweater with a calm, understated look – but with just enough going on to make you want to take a second look.

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up, and the sleeves are knitted in as well.
