Gruse is a pullover that can be worn with no ease or with positive ease. Gruse has a nice classic texured all over pattern and the pullover is worked from the bottom edge and up. The pullover has long set in sleeves (the yoke is worket in one piece / raglan construction).

The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 24 stitches per 10 centimeters (ltextured pattern) i.e. a yardage of approximate 300 meters per 100 grams. Pictured in hand dyed (dyed with walnut and cochenille) 100% merino from Chester Wool Company.

The pattern includes directions for a size S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL with chest width 95 (105, 115, 125, 135, 145) centimeters and a length of 58 (60, 62, 63, 64, 65) centimeters.

This pattern is written for a knitter who is familiar with simple textured patterns, knit and purl (worked in the round as well as back and forth), a knitter who is able to follow written instructions and work increases, decreases and pick up stitches. The direction is written text.
